Room 228, Monday Night [NFB]
Jan. 30th, 2006 10:54 pmLogan made it back to his room after the meeting in Angel's room (the follow-up to last night's meeting). He flipped on the light as he came in. Jake was already asleep in his bed and didn't stir. Logan was a little disappointed. He'd hoped one of the bonuses of sharing a room with Jake would be annoying him when he came home late.
Well, the new Principal Dewey seemedeasily manipulated like a decent guy, so if the room change paperwork took too long, that might be a place to go for help.
He tossed his notes from the meeting onto the desk, on top of his notes from Magical Theory, then thought better of it, and locked them in a lower drawer. Just in case.
He checked his voicemail and found a message from Vice Principal Pierce and grinned. Clearly he was well suited for this sort of assistant position. The Friday party wouldn't work for the Secret Sibling thing, but he could do something on Saturday. Maybe an afternoon thing.
He got ready for bed, stuck his shower stuff near the door, then looked at one of the bags he'd brought back that morning. He'd made a run out to the house to see what he could scavenge. Most of his clothes were okay, his camera needed some repair and a couple other things had survived, but most of the furniture and electronics were totalled.
He hadn't bothered going through all of Jake and Barbossa's stuff, but he'd spotted a few things within easy reach and brought them back with him. He pulled out the duffel bag they'd been stuffed in, then rolled his eyes, and unpacked Jake's stuffed animal collection, leaving it on his desk to be found in the morning.
He set his alarm for omg, early, turned off the light and crawled into bed.
