(Outside) Room 228, Thursday Afternoon
Mar. 10th, 2006 01:19 amLogan stopped by his room to see if his keyhole had somehow reappeared. It hadn't. He kicked the door in frustration, sighed, then stuffed his hands in his pockets and stepped back.
He felt a piece of paper in his pocket and pulled it out.
He stared at the note for much longer than it would normally require to read so few words. Then he folded the paper very carefully and slipped it back into his pocket.
Wiping his eyes with the palm of his hand, he headed for the stairwell. He felt the need for some fresh air. Plus it was unlikely that anyone else would be on the roof at this time of day.
Lousy time for him to be locked out of his own room.
