Logan lead Cally, Lee, Angel, Parker and Molly back to his house. The snow was thick and still falling, but tolerable. He unlocked the doors and gestured for everyone to come inside. "It ain't much, but it's home," he grinned.

Angel had to duck and dive to get around the tentacles trying to turn him and his big forehead into two dimensions.

He saw Logan enter the fray and smiled. Just what he needed. "Logan!"

With what he needed from his coat securely palmed, Angel flicked the blowtorch on, spun it in his hand, and threw it in Logan's direction. "Catch!"

The tentacled snow monster was very confused at this point. There was definitely something fishy going on with those two. Since the house had gone and crashed on him, he was able to free up some tentacles for more defensive maneuvers. What was he defending against, though?

Confident that Logan could distract - and annoy, he was real confident on annoy - the monster with the blowtorch, Angel ran to attack from the other direction

The tentacle monster focused on the person wielding flamely death at the moment, ignoring the stupidly coiffed guy with the pale skin. Tentacles flailed at the kid in the conch-shell necklace.

Angel, in the meanwhile, used his cigarette lighter to light wooden stakes and start throwing them with deadly accuracy - assuming snow monsters could be killed - at the beast's head.

In a way he'd have to remind himself to thank Darla and Dru for making sure he'd been prepared.

A thought struck the snow monster. No, wait. That wasn't a thought... that was a burning stake, omg. The flames extinguished quickly, but took a good chunk of the monster with them as they went out. It was time for maximum death throes. Look out boys and girls... that dying tentacle might be crashing down on *your* head.

Angel saw the monster start to go melty. Then he saw the tentacles. He leapt out of the way in time to avoid getting hit on the head, but not in time to keep from getting a blow to those newly-healed ribs.

The word "ow" might have been spoken. It sounded an awful lot like "Shit!" though.

Finally, with a mournful howl, the tentacled ice monster dissipated to nothing... or it just got really, really flat. In any case, it was no longer a threat. For the moment.

Angel pushed himself up to his feet. He patted himself down. Ribs: hurt but unbroken. Coat: still had a few tricks up the sleeves. So to speak.

That left -

"You okay?"

That got a wince out of him, but he tried to hide it. "Where's Molly?"

Angel immediately took his leather coat off and handed it to him. "Here. Careful. It's a little loaded. Thought the worst that was going to happen today was Darla and Dru."

Angel nodded. "Let's go fast. I don't want to know how many others are out there."
