Logan Echolls

Grabbing his toolbox, Bridge heads across the hall to Logan's room.

"Okay, so what's the problem?"

"The keyhole's gone," Logan said, pointing to the doorknob.

Molly put her hand on the doorknob. "I should probably wait for Bridge to try with his tools first, huh?"

Cameron tilted his head and looked at the lock when Logan said the keyhole was gone. "Huh, wonder who he pissed off for that one."

"That's one way to go," Logan smiled at Molly.

"Who can do that, though? Just...disappear a lock?" Rory wondered.

"Cyclops," Cameron said, remembering the guy Molly had described from her world. "He's this mutant with laser vision or something. I bet he could just melt the hole away."

"I can take the doorknob off. But then you won't have *any* lock at all. Which would be just as bad."

From:

"Okay, (A) we don't have him here, and (B) it's not burny." Rory pointed at the keyhole, where there were no scorchmarks

"Well, then I could get my clothes," Logan said, gesturing at the shirt he was wearing. It was a nice black button-down shirt, though a little baggy on him. You may have previously seen it on a certain vampire. "But yeah, I need something. If I picked up a new lock in town, could you install it?"

"I could," Bridge says thoughtfully, "Or..." and he disappears back into his room for a minute.

"Okay, some of the magic people around the school? I'm sure he's pissed enough people off," Cameron leaned against the wall and wondered why Logan's shirt looked familiar.

Molly looked up at Logan. "You want a whole new door? I could punch trough this one easy."

Logan laughed. "You in the mood for some destruction?"

Molly pouted. "Yes," she said simply.

Logan considered for a moment. "Okay, go ahead," he said.

Parker walked up, and cocked her head. "Why are we watching this, exactly?"

"Cause I'm lazy and I don't know how to pick locks," Cameron replied. "And bashing in the door probably isn't good for my shoulder." Not that his shoulder was causing him too much trouble anymore.

"And it's Logan," Rory added. "So you know something eyerolly is going to happen."

Parker grinned. "What happened to the lock, exactly?" She bit her lower lip, hoping it was something amusing.

"Rory says it isn't laser vision, but we haven't decided yet what it is then."

Molly gave him a huge grin and, not really wanting to check to see if he was kidding, stepped in front of the door. Then she punched the door next to the knob.

The door cracked around the knob and one hard push was enough to break it open the rest of the way. The main part of the door swung open while the part with the knob still in it hung from the door frame.

Molly stepped back with a satisfied sigh.

Parker covered her mouth, trying to stifle the chortles. "It's just gone? Completely?" She coughed. "Oh gosh. How sad."

Bridge pops his head out the door of his room and stares at Logan's now destructinated door.

"Well, that's one way of opening it," he admits. "But now what am I going to do with this?" he holds up a box with a keypad lock in it as he comes back out into the hallway.
