After waking up from the nightmare in detention, Logan's heart was pounding and his stomach churning. He managed to make it to a toilet before he vomited.

He clung to the porcelin with sweaty, shaking hands as he puked up everything in his stomach and kept on going. At least it wasn't blood, he thought, as a wave of relief and retching hit him at the same moment.

Logan smiled. He stood up and offered Angel a hand. "Guess we should get out of here before we start any more rumors."

Angel didn't need it, but he took the hand anyway. "Bad enough radio could accurately say we slept together this afternoon."

"We slept separately," Logan pointed out. "We just dreamed together."

Angel thought about it.

"Yeah, I don't know that I want the radio reporting that you're the man of my dreams either."

Logan snickered. "Good thing that no one's going to know about the dream, then," he said pointedly.

Angel grinned. "I don't remember seeing any shrubs there."

Logan glanced around the bathroom nervously. "You never know with those people."

"It's okay," Angel said. He tapped his ears. "I don't hear anybody. Just you."

"Ah, vampire senses. Very -" Logan faltered for a moment, remembering. "Very handy," he finished quietly.

Now Angel reached out to touch him on the arm. "It wasn't you. You're still Logan."

Logan smiled at him gratefully. "Who were you? Before you were Angelus?" he asked.

Angel figured Logan wasn't speaking philosophically.

"Liam," he said. "My name was Liam."

"Not bad," Logan said, mentally filing that bit of information away. "If I'd become a vampire, would I have had to take on a silly nickname, too?"

Angel smirked. "Not everybody does. And hey, it's not as dumb as Spike."

Logan laughed. "Spike's a great name... for a cartoon character."

"That works," Angel said. "He's as two-dimensional as they come."

Logan walked towards the door. "Good thing I escaped that fate. Bad enough being an evil bloodsucker. But an evil bloodsucker with a cheesy nickname?" He gave a mock shudder. "Might as well put on spandex and practice your maniacal laughter."
