Room 528 (Formerly 228), Wednesday Morning

Logan slapped his alarm off, sat up, and instantly regretted it. A wave of dizziness and nausea swept over him. He flopped back and clung to his pillow, mentally calculating the distance between his bed and the trash can.

Lousy day to get the flu. He hoped someone would be videotaping the girlkissy event.



[ooc: Mun will be extra-busy today, so just establishing why Logan's not around for the boykissy/girlkissy stuff.]

Angel passed by Logan's room when he heard sounds coming from the inside.

Normally he didn't like to eavesdrop but sick had a sound all its own.

Angel frowned, went to his room for a few supplies, then came back to knock very softly on the door. If Logan didn't want company he didn't have to answer.

"Whozit?"

"Angel."

"I'm sick," Logan mumbled at the door.

"I'm dead," Angel pointed out, reasonably. "Not like I'm going to catch anything."

Pause.

"Right. C'mon in."

Angel came in and closed the door behind him. He hovered near the doorway, not sure if Logan was really up for company. "Um. Heard you." He gestured to his left ear. "Vamp thing. Thought maybe you could use some stuff?"

He held up a grocery bag.

"Stuff?" Logan was perhaps not at the top of his game at the moment.

Angel nodded. He came forward so Logan could see. "Water. Ginger ale. Crackers. Stuff."

"Good sick stuff," Logan nodded weakly. "Ginger ale?" He held out a hand and looked at Angel hopefully.

Angel cracked it open for him and held it out. Then, without thinking, he reached with his free hand to test Logan's forehead for fever.

Angel's cool hand felt good on his hot forehead, like a damp towel. Logan sipped gingerly at the soda, not sure how much his stomach could take.

"Burning up," Angel murmured. He moved his hand, letting his cool skin try to soothe Logan a bit. "Got aspirin or Tylenol handy?"

"Think there's some -" Logan gestured vaguely towards the nightstand.

"Not surprised you keep that by the bed," Angel said with a wry grin. He rummaged until he found a bottle, shook out a couple of pills, then held them out to Logan. "Here. You can take 'em with the ginger ale."

"Thanks." Logan gulped down the pills and chased them with the ginger ale. He took another sip of the soda, then set the can carefully on the nightstand and curled up around his pillow.

Angel brushed his other, now comparatively cooler, hand over Logan's forehead. "Get some sleep. If you need anything I've got my cell on me."

"'Kay," Logan mumbled. "Thanks."

"Anytime." Angel tucked the blanket around him, then left him to his peace and quiet.

After seeing Professor Skeeter's note, Veronica decided to stop by and see why Logan wasn't in class.

She knocked on his door.

"It's me," Veronica replied. "What's wrong?"

Well, at least he wasn't a bunny again.

"Can I come in?" she asked.

"I'm willing to risk it rather than yell at you through your door," she said.

Veronica went in and walked straight over to Logan.

"What happened?" she asked, frowning at his appearance.

Logan gave her a "duh" look. "Well, when two viruses love each other very much..."

Veronica sat on the edge of the bed and rolled her eyes.

"When did you start getting sick?" she asked. "Are you running a fever? Do you need anything?"

She bit her lip and studied him. She hoped he wasn't sick because of anything that happened while he was a bunny.

Veronica leaned over and kissed his forehead gently to see if he still felt warm. "Did you take anything for that yet?" she asked. "And I wish I could get you a new stomach. I wonder if Piper has any healing spells?"

"Tylenol," Logan said, though his forehead was still warm. "Healing spells good."

"I'll talk to her in History," Veronica promised. "You should take more Tylenol since you still feel warm to me. Want me to bring you some soup later?"

"I'll stop by after the big kissy event," she promised, leaning over to kiss his forehead again. "Call me if you need anything, okay?"

After the big kissy event, Veronica stopped by and dropped off soup and a copy of the unedited video she and Cameron had shot.
