Sunday Afternoon - Echolls Residence

Logan returned from Wonka's Candy Shop just as the Christmas tree was delivered. Logan directed them to set it up in the living room.

He flopped down on the couch and turned on the TV to watch Scrooged while waiting for the decorations to be delivered.



[Open to house residents and friends. The professional decorators aren't going to show, so we'll have to improvise. And there's candy!]

Jenny showed up at the door to Logan Echolls' house with her laptop case over one shoulder, and carrying a bag of supplies for the disinvitation spell.

"I hope I got the right place," she said, ringing the doorbell.

Parker showed up around 2pm, Liz Weir in tow. Upon seeing Miss Calendar, she smiled in relief.

"Hey, you found it. I should have left directions. Glad you could be here."

"Through the wiring sounds effective," Logan said, "but does the electricity have to be on? 'Cause I don't want them to just cut power lines and sneak in that way."

"The wiring is the physical component," said Jenny. "In the traditional spell, you nail up a cross wound with a braid of garlic bulbs at every entrance to the house--" She stopped and glanced around. "How many entrances do you have? Anyway, with the traditional spell, you don't have to keep the cross and garlic nailed up from now until you move out. You raise the energy with the incantation, use the cross and garlic to focus it, and then away go the crosses and the garlic. With the technomagic version, the physical focus is the wiring. Even if the power cuts out later, the invitations are still revoked."

Having seen Parker's note, Angela heads over to the house and knocks on the door. "Hey. What are you guys doing?"

"Hey, Angela! We're disinviting vampires. And eating candy. Come on in," Logan said.

"Hello?" Rory called, sticking her head in the front door. "I'm not late, am I? I had to go get some stuff so I could do my interview later."

Since others were checking on Parker, Logan went to meet Rory at the door.

He didn't notice that his feet didn't actually touch the floor.

Krycek opened the front door and was surprised to hear so many voices . He looked back at Jake as he walked in, frowning slightly. "Was there a party happening today? Sounds like something's going on."

Jake broke off his rant about Spider and his new responsibilities and looked puzzled. "No... At least, I haven't seen a post-it about it?"

Jake may be unhappy at losing his filters, so make pretty crafty thingies to make him feel better!

Parker's actually pretty good with this. And she's not playing with the needles, no way.

"Okay, how many of these do we need?" she asks, then scowls as one of the coffee filters falls apart into four pieces because she cut it too much. "Never mind. I'll just cut until someone stops me."

Jake came back with a huge stack of coffee filters in various shades of off white. He didn't look too thrilled about giving them up, but resigned to doing his part for the great cause.

Barbossa, with the ease of long practice in Art Appreciation class, began working on a series of cut-out angels.

All of them had eyepatches. Many had peglegs, too.

Make popcorn garlands

Either string it all along with a needle to form a garland, tie the popcorn together with the string (no idea how we'll manage that).

Elizabeth returned from the kitchen carrying a large bowl of freshly popped popcorn.

"No eating it," she warned. "And, I know this is really stretching it here, do you guys have a sewing kit or anything?"

Go wild. Cut out something, draw, whatever. Stick it on the tree when you're done.

Krycek picked up a pad of large blue post-its and began cutting out snowflakes. Sometimes wonky and maybe not very pretty snowflakes, but at least they'd stick to the walls on their own.

Angela takes a stack of post-its and folds them, attempting origami. Her first few frogs come out looking more like three-legged toads ... but that's the Fandom way, right? They might just be gremlins.

She makes a fleet of origami frogs and poses them in the branches of the tree.

Parker leans down, steals some feathers... and sticks a few on her snowflakes.

Barbossa glued feathers to his raggedy band of eye-patched angels and then hung them from the trees, where they glared at everyone.
