The office had reached the point where something had to be done and so Logan was working, doing filing, even, on a freaking Saturday. They needed more staff, but hiring was a pain in the ass. Logan wished they could just find someone right for the job. A person (or people) who could handle weirdness and office crap without running away screaming.

Be careful what you wish for, Logan.

Luckily (or unluckily, depending on your point of view), that was when Bel and Veronica shimmered in.

Bel shimmered out again immediately (it was obvious he was Not Happy) and Veronica set down her suitcases.

"Hey," she said.

"Hi," Logan said. He looked at her suitcases. "Please tell me those are full of French maid and naughty nurse outfits."

"There might be one or two for undercover work," Veronica said.

"I do some of my best work under covers," Logan grinned.

Veronica rolled her eyes.

"So, which room should I take these to?"

Cole shimmered back in, looking more unhappy, with Phoebe and suitcases. He made sure she was steady on her feet before shimmering out again.

"Hi, Logan."

"... Phoebe," he said, giving her a welcoming nod. He was starting to think something was up.

She smiled cheerfully. "How are things?"

"A little surprising, actually," Logan said.

Her smile faltered. "Let me guess... you had no idea..." She let out a breath.

Oh look, the next shimmer trip yielded an Anders and some of his things -- an Anders whose significantly cranky look could, in theory, be attributed to the Red Sox choking against the Blue Jays earlier in the day.

"Which way'd Phoebe go?" he asked resignedly.

". . . yeah," Anders said. "That narrows it down real good. 'preciate it, really."

Logan shrugged. "Dude, I don't know which room she picked."

Anders peered up at the ceiling, like it would help. "Don't suppose you could narrow it down to a floor, either? Geez, some concierge."

Bel was still grumpy when he shimmer back in with Piper. After placing a box of cooking supplies on the floor, he shimmered back out again.

She nodded at Logan and, in her most neutral voice possible, said, "Hey."

"Hey," Logan said. "Welcome to LA."

"Thanks," Piper replied, looking around. "Where's the kitchen?"

"Some of the suites have small kitchens, but the main one is in there," Logan said. He showed her the way to the kitchen.

"I'll have to choose a suite then," Piper said, picking up the box on the floor and following him to the kitchen. "I'll probably be in here a lot."

Finally, after ferrying snarky blonde, girlfriend, boyfriend, and snarky witch and all their belongs to the hotel (including two cats), Bel arrived, clearly Not Pleased with this turn of events.

Oh, look, Logan was still there. He glared at Bel. "You're in my home. Don't forget that."

Bel glared right back. "This wasn't my idea," he said. "Last thing I want to do is live anywhere near you."

"And yet you're here," Logan said.

"Yeah," Bel said. "Deal with it."
